The main applications of vacuum pump in the power industry are: condenser vacuum, vacuum water absorption, flue gas desulfurization, fly ash transportation, turbine sealed pipe exhaust, vacuum exhaust, exhaust geothermal gas and so on.
Condenser vacuum
In the vacuum stage, the initial vacuum is extracted when no steam is introduced in the condenser, and the air and other non-condensing gases in the condenser are extracted; In the vacuum maintenance stage, in the operation of the condenser, the vacuum pump continues to work to extract the leaking dry air, maintain the back pressure of the condenser at the working point, ensure the high efficiency of the turbine operation, and improve the thermal efficiency of the power plant.
Vacuum suction
The water ring vacuum pump is used to keep a siphon in the cooling water system of the power generation equipment, so that the cooling water circulating pump can keep working at the designed flow rate and reduce power consumption.
Flue gas desulfurization
When desulphurizing flue gas, gypsum slurry will be produced, which needs to be dehydrated by vacuum belt filter. Liquid ring vacuum pump can effectively operate well under this condition.
Fly ash transport
The fly ash is transferred from the vacuum cleaner funnel to the central dry collection point under vacuum by means of fluid transport. Liquid ring pump has the ability to withstand flying dust into the pump, which is a very suitable conveying equipment.
Turbine seal tube exhaust
Steam turbines use sealed tubes to seal shafts to avoid internal air leakage. These seals are sealed by steam. A vacuum pump must be used continuously to remove excess steam and condensate.
Vacuum exhaust, exhaust geothermal gas
Before boiler water enters the system, it must be vented. Exhaust geothermal gas includes air and other non-condensing gases from the steam space of the condenser.
